The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and delivered

the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the number of tax

collection districts in Dorchester county, and to abolish the
office of County Treasurer in said county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Phelps, Aydelotte and Cooper.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 99, 108, 110,
112 and 113, of Article 20, Public Local Laws, title "Talbot
County," sub-title "Oxford," and to re-enact the same with

amendments, also to add additional Sections.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Lloyd, McCulloh and Walsh.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 8, of Article 1,
of the Code of Public Local Laws title "Allegany Coun-

ty," Sub-title "Oakland," and to re-enact the same with

amendments.

which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
McCulloh, Getty and Ford.

House bill entitled an Act for the protection of partridges,
and to prevent trespassing with dog or gun on private pro-
perty in Caroline county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Ford,
Getty and McCulloh,

House bill entitled an Act to provide for taking the vote of
the people of Montgomery county for or against the re divi-

sion of said county into 12 Election Districts, at the election
to be held in the fall of 1876.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Brewer, Lee and Knight.

House bill entitled an Act to protect game and birds in
Washington county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. New-
comer, Freeman and Duke.

House bill entitled an Act to create an additional Election.
District in Garrett county, by dividing Election District No.
8 of said county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Getty, Ford and Lawrence.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a .sum of money
to pay Edward V. Morris, tax collector for the 1st and 24
