Mr. Suit, (by unanimous consent) fiom Select Committee,
reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to improve the sanitary condi-
tion of Baltimore city, and to incorporate the Baltimore City
Abattoir Company.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Lloyd, from the Committee on Finance, (by unanimous
consent) reported favorably the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to create a loan to discharge an
indebtedness of the President and Visitors of the Maryland
Hospital, now secured by mortgage of said hospital and
premises, and to provide additional outbuildings and furni-
ture for the same

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 1 to 13, (both
inclusive) of Article 44, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Maryland Hospital," and to enact in lieu thereof the
following to be arranged as Sections of said Article of the
Code.

Which were read the first time.

Mr. Bannon, from Select Committee, (by unanimous con-
sent,) reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to exempt certain portions of the

-waters of Anne Arundel county from the operation of Sec-
tions 1 and 3, of Article 98, of the Code of Public General
Laws, title "Wild Fowl," and to enact other Sections in lieu
thereof.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Walsh, (by unanimous consent,) presented the memo-
rial of Wilson, Burns & Co., Otho W. Eichelberger, Thos.
