Mr. Suit presented the memorial of Otho W. Brail, ask-
ing a pension.

Which was read, and referred to Committee on Pensions.

On motion by Mr. Bannon, it was

Ordered, That so much of the order offered by Mr, Gor-
man, on January the 6th, that no printing shall be done,
except the printing of the daily Journal, be rescinded, so
that a sufficient number of the rules of the Senate be printed
to furnish each member with a copy thereof.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings to introduce a bill, entitled, "an Act to amend the 93d
Article of the Code of Public General Laws," relating to
Testamentary Law, by adding a new section thereto, relating
to Devises.

On motion by Mr. Dennis,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proced-
ings to report a bill to refund to J. H. Goodsell a sum of
money heretofore paid by him to the Commissioner of the
Land Office for the State.

On motion by Mr. Suit,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Suit, Dennis and Getty, a
Select Committee, to report a bill, regulating the opening
and closing of public or county roads in Prince George's
county.

On motion by Mr. Humphreys,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance, to report
a bill for the relief of Jesse Davis of Wicomico county.

Mr. Walsh, (by unanimous consent,) presented the me-
morial of John Price and one hundred and five other citizens
of Harford county, praying for the repeal or amendment of
Chapter 439 of the Acts of 1874, relating to Licenses.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Walsh, Lee and
McCullough.

On motion by Mr. Walsh, (by unanimous consent,) it
was

Ordered, That C. J. Fox be appointed official reporter to
this body.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and
re-enact with amendments, Section 167 of Article 4, of the
