House bill entitled an Act giving the sanction of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland to the bequests of Daniel Wolford,
late of Washington county, deceased, to the Church of God,
at Broad Fording in said county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings

Also, returned,

Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent the increase of gates
on the public roads of Calvert comity.
Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the sale to the
County Commissioners of Cecil county, the State's interest in
the Bohemia Bridge Company.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
for the purpose of making repairs and additions to the furni-
ture of, and for procuring articles necessary for the use of the
Executive Mansion,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays ''

Also,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act, passed at Jan-
uary Session, 1874, chapter 436, relating to partridges in
Queen Anne's county, and also to add an additional Section
to Article 98 of the Code.

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

The following Senate bills having passed both branches of
the General Assembly of Maryland, were this day presented
to His Excellency the Governor, for his approval:

No. 52. An Act supplementary to an Act entitled an Act
to incorporate the Orphan's House and Episcopal Free School
Society of all Saints' Church in Fredericktown, passed at
December Session, 1837, chapter 147, and to its supplement,
passed at January Session, 1854, chapter 104.

No. 58. An Act to repeal the 7th Section, of the 57th Ar-
ticle of the Code of Public General Laws of this State, title
