Said bill was then sent to the House of Delegates.
The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to repeal certain Sections of Art.
8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to Chesapeake
City, and to re-enact the same with amendments,

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Knight, Brewer and Lee.

House hill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
Commissioners of Frederick county, to adjust and settle the
account of Wm. R. Dorsey, Register of Voters for Wood-
ville Election District, No. 18, of said county, by paying him
such compensation for extra services by him rendered,' as
they might deem right and proper.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of
Worcester county, to determine by ballot whether spirituous
or fermented liquors shall not be sold in said county, or shall
be sold only, as hereinafter described, and to repeal all Acts:
inconsistent herewith.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs..
Aydelotte, Humphreys and Dennis, and,
On motion by Mr. Aydelotte,

Was ordered to be printed.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sec. 2, of Chap. 313,
of the Acts of 1872, entitled an Act to protect the owners of
land on the waters of Queen Anne's and Kent counties, and
to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Ford, Hepbron and Brewer.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 1 and 2, chap.
401, of the Acts of 1874, relating to "Courts," in the City
of Baltimore, substituting others in lien thereof, and to re-
enact the same with amendments.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.
