House bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to Ar-
ticle 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Washington
county, in regard to horses and carriages kept at livery in
said county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Newcomer, Freeman and Duke.

House bill entitled an Act to divide the 3rd Election Dis-
trict of Worcester county, into two Election Districts.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Aydelotte, Dennis and Humphreys.

House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the granting of li-
cense for the sale of Spirituous or Fermented Liquors or Lager
Beer, at or near Washington factory, in Baltimore county.

Which was read the first, time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to legalize the Revised Code of
Public General and Public Local Laws of Maryland, pre-
pared by Lewis Mayer, Louis C. Fischer and E. J. D. Cross.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the National
Lubricating Company of Maryland.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

House hill entitled an Act to give the sanction of the Gen-
eral Assembly to the provisions of the last will and testa-
ment of Rachel Heck of Allegany county, by which the
residue of her estate was devised to be equally divided be
tween the Board of Domestic Missions of the Presbyterian
Church, in the United States, and the Board of Publication
of said Church.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Aet to repeal Section 1, and add
additional Sections 11 and 12 to chapter 437 of the Acts of
1874, in relation to catching oysters with dredge, scoop or
scrape in the waters of the Choptank river, and to amend
and re-enact the same, giving additional privileges to tong-
men.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Phelps, Lloyd and Dennis.
