House bill entitled an Act to incorporate tho Baltimore
County Gaslight Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations,

House bill entitled an Act to empower the County Com-
missioners of Baltimore county, to pay Wm. D. Burns of the
4th Election District of said county, an amount of money to
pay physician fees, and for lost time in consequence of inju-
ries received whilst serving under the orders of a deputy
Sheriff in arresting and securing unruly persons.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Free-
man, Duke and Newcomer.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 156, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, title "Queen Anne's County,"
sub-title "Surveyor."

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Ford,
Getty and Hepbron.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 459, 464, 469,
of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "City
of Baltimore," sub-title "Live Stock," and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the Liquor Traffic,
and prevent intemperance in Baltimore county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of
the Methodist Episcopal Church, at Parsonsburg, Wicomico
county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Humphreys, Hepbron and Ford.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 3, of chapter
429, of the Act of 1870, dividing the 3rd District of Balti-
more county into election precincts, and re-enacting the same
with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Freeman, Cooper and Gorrnan.

House bill entitled an Act relating to the Franklin Bank
of Baltimore.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act regulating and making lawful
the setting of Pound Nets in the waters of the Elk, Sassafras-
and Bohemia rivers, and their tributaries in Cecil county.
