to enact the following in lieu thereof under the Article,
and title "Registration of Voters,"

Being upon its second reading,
On motion by Mr. German,

Was ordered to lie over and be made the order of the day
for Tuesday, March 7th, at 1 o'clock.

Mr. Brewer, from the Select Committee, (by unanimous

consent,) reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 5, of chapter
381, of the Acts of 1872, entitled an Act to provide for the
destruction of hawks and owls, and to protect the small birds
known as inseetiverous birds in Prince George's, Talbot and
Montgomery counties, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments, so as to exclude Montgomery and Talbot counties
from the provisions of said Section.

Which was read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 10, of an Act to incorporate the Mutual
Fire Insurance Company of Somerset and Worcester counties,
passed March 13th, 1870,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the appointment

of a Collector and Treasurer, and a more economical collec-
tion of taxes in Dorchester county, and to repeal Sections
77, 78, 79, 80, 81 and 82, of Art. 10, of the Code of Public
Local Laws for said- county, and enact the following in lieu
thereof.

Was read a third time and passed by yeas and nays as

follows :
