Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, to provide for the Inspection of Coal
Oil in the City of Baltimore, and for the appointment of In-
spectors for that purpose.

Mr. Fields, (Mr. Walsh in the Chair,) moved that said
bill be referred to the Committee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Kent county, to have several of the Land
Record Books of said county rebound, and to continue the
general index of judgments and decrees on the dockets of
said Court from the year 1864.

Mr. Dennis from the Select Committee, reported favorably,
House bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to
chapter 425, of Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to add certain
sub-sections to Article 19, of the Code of Public Local Laws,
title "Somerset county," sub-title "License," and to repeal
Section 138, of said Article, relating to retailers, with the
following amendments:

In the first line of sub-section 2, strike out the word "Gen-
eral," and after the word "Election," insert "to be held on.
