Which was read, asented to and sent to the House of
Delegates.

Also, delivered the following bills :

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay the claims of John Murphy & Co., W. L. Pheiffer,
John Himmelheaver, James E. Tate, McDowell & Co.,
Samuel Stewart, J. W. Kalmey, and Kelly, Piet & Co.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to
chapter 425, of the Acts of 1874, entitled an Act to add cer-
tain sub-Sections to Article 19, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Somerset county," sub-title "License." and to
repeal Section 138, of said Article, relating to retailers.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Dennis, Humphreys and Aydelotte.

House bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money
to pay John J. Abbott, late Collector of State Taxes in Car-
roll county, the amount overpaid by him into the Treasury.

Which was lead the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact Section
2, and to repeal Section 9, of chapter 414, of the Acts of
1872, relating to Pharmacists in the City of Baltimore.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Baltimore city.

House bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1867,
chapter 237, entitled an Act to incorporate the Beneficial
Savings Fund Society of Baltimore by changing its name.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the bequests of
George W. Jonson, to the German Lutheran Evangelical
Saint Matthew's Congregation of Baltimore.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 50, 51 and
52, of Article 19, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relat-
ing to fences in Somerset county, and to add other Sections
in lieu thereof, and to add new Sections thereto.

Which was read the first time aad referred to the Com-
mittee on Agriculture.

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the Liquor Traffic,
and prevent Intemperance in Calvert county.
