State's interest in the Vienna Bridge in Dorchester county.

And on motion by Mr. Lloyd,

Said Committee were discharged from the further considera-
tion of said memorial.

Mr. Duke, from a Select Committee, reported favorably the
following bill:

Senate bill entitled an Act to empower the Clerk to the
County Commissioners of Calvert and Washington counties,
to administer an oath or affirmation to any person presenting
a claim to the Commissioners of said counties against the
county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Lloyd, from a Select Committee, reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and direct the
County Commissioners of Talbot county, to appoint an addi-
tional Constable for the 1st election district of said county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Cooper, (by unanimous consent,)

Presented the memorial of the members of the Association
of Mexican Volunteers of Maryland, requesting the General
Assembly to appropriate a sum of money to enable them to
procure a stand of colors.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Fi-
nance.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bills:

Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate regulate the speed
of vehicles and equestrians on the approaches to Druid Hill
Park from North Avenue.

Endorsed : "Passed by yeas and nays with the following
proposed amendment;"

AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 1, line 8, strike out "have," and insert "are,"

Which was read and concurred in, and said bill passed by
yeas and nays as follows:
