Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Senators, to in-
troduce a bill to repeal Sections 14, 15 and 16 of Article 4,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion by Mr. Knight,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to introduce a bill entitled an Act giving the .sanction
of the General Assembly to the sale and conveyance of land
from Joseph Coudon and Caroline Ooudon, his wife, to the
Vestry of St. Mary Anne's, or North Elk Parish, in Cecil
county.
On motion by Mr. Lloyd,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a hill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at
the January Session, 1860, chapter 250, entitled an Act to
incorporate the Easton Passenger and Freight Railroad Com-
pany, and re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion by Mr. Getty,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 56,
passed January Session, 1868, entitled an Act to add an ad-
ditional Section to Article 30 of the Code of Public General
Laws, relating to Crimes and Punishments, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
On motion by Mr. Stevens,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill to be entitled an Act to grant certain addi-
tional powers to the Johns Hopkins University, a corpora-
tion incorporated under the General Laws of Maryland,
The Honorable Richard C. Hollyday, Secretary of State,
appeared and delivered a message from the Executive.
Mr. Aydelotte laid before the Senate an Act of the Legis-
lature of Virginia, in relation to the Boundary Line between
the States of Virginia and Maryland.

Leave was granted to the Joint Select Committee on the
Boundary Line between the States of Maryland and Virginia,
to introduce a bill in accordance therewith, entitled an Act
supplementary to an Act to designate the Arbitrators, to
ascertain and fix the boundary between the States of Vir-
ginia and Maryland, approved April 11th, 1874.
