Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing the Commissioners
of Salisbury, Wicomico county, to purchase and hold a piece
of ground to build a market bouse thereon, and to pass ordi-
nances regulating the buying, selling or huckstering on the
streets of said town.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Newcomer, from a Select Committee, reported favora-

bly,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 7, 17, 20, 22,
of the Act of 1872, chapter 251, and re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Aydelotte, from a Select Committee, reported favora-
bly,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 164, of Article
22, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Worcester
County," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

Senate Joint Resolutions, in relation to the Great Seal,

Were read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 145, of the
Act of 1874, chapter 483, title "Revenue and Taxes," and
to re-enact the same with amendments,

Being upon its second reading
On motion by Mr. McCulloh,

Was ordered to lie over and made the order of the day for
Thursday, Feb. 24, at 2 P. M.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 76, of the
Acts of the General Assembly, passed at the January Seg-
sion, 1874, entitled an Act to locate the county seat of Gar-
rett county,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize Sarah A. E. Brew-
ington to settle her account as guardian, with George P.
Brewington, a minor,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The hour of 1 o'clock having arrived, the President an-
nounced the order of the day to be the Senate Joint Resolu-
tions, with reference to the State of Louisiana,
