The Senate at 2.50 P. M., went into Executive Session.

At 3.10 P. M., the Senate resumed the consideration of
legislative business,

THURSDAY, February 17, 1876.

Senate met at 12 M.

Prayer by the Rev. Mr. Amos.

Present at roll-call the following Senators:

Messrs. President, Bannon, Brewer, Dennis, Freeman,
Ford, Getty, Gorman, Hepbron, Humphreys, Joyce, Knight,
Lee, Lawrence, Lloyd, McCulloh, Mudd, Newcomer, Phelps,
Stevens, Steiner, Suit, Walsh—23.

Proceedings of yesterday read and approved.
On motion by Mr. Brewer, it was

Ordered, That on and after Friday, the 18th instant, the
daily hour of meeting of the Senate be 11 o'clock, A. M.,
except on Monday, when the hour of meeting shall be 12
o'clock M.

On motion by Mr. Lee,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Lee, Brewer and Walsh,
to introduce a bill to repeal Section 115, of chapter 343 of
the Acts of 1874, relating to the City of Westminster, and. to
re-enact the same with amendments.
