214 JOURNAL OF PROCEEDINGS [Feb. 10,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 36, of Article
10, of the Code of Public General Laws, as re-enacted by
chapter 45, of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1874,
relating to Attachments, and to re-tnact the same with
amendments.

Being upon its second reading,

Mr. Gorman submitted the following amendment:

Line 4, (printed bill,) after the word "and," strike out
"one half, in amount of."

Which was decided in the negative, by yeas and nays as

follows :

AFFIRMATIVE,

Messrs. President Knight,
Bannon, Lloyd,
Duke, Mudd,
Ford, Steiner,
Gorman, Walsh—10.
NEGATIVE.

Messrs. Aydelotte, Lee,

Freeman, McCulloh,
Getty, Newcomer,
Hepbron, Phelps,
Humphreys, Stevens—11.
Joyce.,

Mr. Gorman submitted the following:
Section 36, line 5, after word "salary," strike out "which
maybe due," and insert "to the amount of one hundred dol-
lars shall always."

Which was determined in the affirmative by yeas and nays
as follows:
