House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Ocean City
Bridge Company.

Also, favorably,

House bill entitled a further supplement to an Act passed
at December Session, 1825, entitled an Act to incorporate
the President and Directors of the Firemen's Insurance Com-
pany, of Baltimore, and the several supplements thereto.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 67, of the
Code of Public General Laws of this State, title "Notaries
Public," by repealing the first Section thereof and re-enacting
the said Section with amendments, increasing the number of
Notaries Public in the City of Baltimore, and by adding to
said Article an additional Section, giving Notaries Public
power to take the acknowledgments of deeds, bills of sales,
mortgages or other writings required to be recorded, and to
administer any oaths or affirmations required by law to be
made te or concerning the same.

Which was read the first time.

Also, favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act, to repeal Section 7 of an Act,
entitled "an Act to add certain Sections, relating to the Su-
perior Court of Baltimore city, and the Court of Common
Pleas in Baltimore city, to the 4th Article of the Public Lo-
cal Laws, regulating the return of process, and the taking of
judgments in said Courts," passed at the General Assembly of
Maryland, at the January Session, 1864, chapter 6, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Which was read the first time.

The hour of one o'clock having arrived, the President an-
nounce the order of the day to be the following bills :

First. Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 4 and
6, of chapter 150, of the Acts of 1874, entitled "an Act to es-
tablish a Commission of Fisheries of the State of Maryland,
define its duties, and to appropriate a sum of money to defray
the expenses thereof," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Second. Senate bill entitled au Act to provide for the
opening and extension of Camden street, in the City of Bal-
timore,
