The memorial of Asa M. Stabler, and 65 others, citizens of
Montgomery county, praying the passage of an Act redis-
tricting said county and increasing the number of election
districts thereof.

Also,

A similar memorial of W. H. Farquhar, and 20 others, of
said county.

Which were read and referred to Messrs. Brewer, Lee and
Knight.

Mr. Gorman presented the memorial of George T. Chaney
and numerous citizens of Howard county requesting that no
change be made in the Attachment Law.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Judi-
cial Proceedings.

Mr. Cooper presented the memorial of Vickery & Carroll
and others, citizens of Baltimore city, in opposition to the
extension of Camden street across the harbor in said city.

Which was read and referred to the Senators from Balti-
more city.

Mr. Phelps presented the memorial of 91 citizens of Dor-
chester county, remonstrating against any change in the
laws relating to the shooting of Wild Fowl in the Choptank
river.

Which was read and referred to Messrs Phelps, Aydelotte
and Cooper.

Mr. Ford presented the memoaial of R. T. Earle and 251
others, citizens of Queen Anne's county, praying the passage
of an Act creating an additional district in said county.

Which was read and referred to Messrs. Ford, Getty and
Lawrence.

On motion by Mr. Getty,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Getty, Ford and Lawrence
to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 456 of
the Acts passed at January Session, 1874, entitled "an Act to
provide for the better protection of Birds in Garrett county,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion by Mr. Bannon,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Pensions to intro-
duce a bill to pay William R. Thompson a sum of money,
and place his name on the pension roll.
