Mr, Getty, from Select Committee, reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act, passed at
January Session, 1874, chapter 508, entitled "An Act for
the taxation of dogs in the State of Maryland," so far as the
same relates to Garrett county.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. McCulloh, from the Committee on Corporations, re-
ported favorably,

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Sections 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 17, 18, 22 and 23, of the
Acts of 1872, chapter 378, entitled "An Act to incorporate the
National Railroad Company of Maryland."

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Humphreys, from Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Wicomico county to levy a sum of money for
the support of William B. Gordy, while in an Insane
Asylum,

With the following amendment:

In Seetion 1, line 5, strike out the words "and fifty."

Which was adopted.

Said bill as amended was then read the second time.

Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the closing of roads
in Prince George's county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 52, of the
Acts of 1868, entitled "An Act to repeal Section 45, of Ar-
ticle 29, of the Code of Public General Laws," entitled, "Cir-
cuit Courts for the counties," and to re-enact the same with
amendments,"

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent Stock from running
at large in Baltimore county, within fifteen miles of Balti-
more city,

Being oh its second reading,

Mr. Stevens submitted the following amendment:

Insert "fifteen" in all the blank spaces before the word
"miles" in the title and in the bill.

Which was adopted.

Said bill as amended, was then read the second time and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
