Clerk of the Circuit Court for Frederick county, to trans-
cribe two Equity Dockets of the Circuit Court for said
county.

On motion by Mr. Stevens,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Judicial Proceed-
ings, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 13,
and 20, of Article 10, of the Code of Public General Laws,
title "Attachments," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

On motion by Mr. Walsh; S

Leave was granted to the Committee on Finance to intro-
duce a bill to appropriate a sum of money to pay George M.
Duvall, the balance due him for salary as Chief Clerk to A.
L. Jarrett former Comptroller of the Treasury.

The President announced the iollowiag Select Committees,
which have hereinbefore been authorized to be appointed.

Select Committee on that portion of the Governor's Mes-
sage, which relates to the Asylum for the Deaf and Dumb,
the Blind and Inebriate, and to the State Board of Health.

Messrs. Bannon, Steiner and Ford.

Select Committee on State appropriation to Southern Mary-
land Railroad.

Messrs. Mudd, Cooper and Gorman.

Mr. Knight, from the Committee on Chesapeake Bay and
its Tributaries, reported favorably,

Senate hill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 4 and 6, of
chapter 150, of the Acts of 1874, entitled "An Act to estab-
lish a Commission of Fisheries of the State of Maryland, de-
fine its duties, and to appropriate a sum of money to defray
the expenses thereof," and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act to empower the Clerk of the
County Commissioners for Talbot county, to administer an
oatb or affirmation to any account, to any person presenting
a claim to the Commissioners, against the county.

Which was read the second time.

Mr. Stevens, from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
reported favorably,

House bill entitled an Act authorizing the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Anne Arundel county, to place certain fees
in the hands of the several Sheriffs of this State and the City
of Baltimore, for collection.

Which was read the second time.
