had finished the business for which it had assembled,

The Joint Convention adjourned.

The Senators having returned to the Senate Chamber,

Mr. Stevens, from Select Committee, (by unanimous con-
sent,) reported favorably,

House hill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 395, Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "Ciiy of Baltimore."

Which was read the second time and ordered to be printed.

The Hon. R. C Hollyday, Secretary of State, appeared and
delivered a message from the Executive.
On motion by Mr. Walsh,

At 2.10, P. M., the Senate went into Executive Session.

At 2 20, P. M., the Senate resumed the consideration of
Legislative business.

On motion by Mr. Ford,

It was ordered to be entered upon the Journal that had he
been present when the vote was taken on Senate Resolutions,
extending the term of Judge Richard J. Bowie, he would
have voted in the affirmative.
On motion by Mr. Bannon,

The Senate, at 2.30, P. M., adjourned.
