Mr. Stevens from the Committee on Judicial Proceedings,
(by unanimous consent,) reported favorably,

Senate Bill entitled an Act to prevent Stock from running
at large in Baltimore county, within fifteen miles of Balti-
more city.

Which was read the first time.
On motion of Mr. Lloyd, it was,

Ordered, that when the Senate adjourns to-day, it stands
adjourned until Monday the 31st inst., at 12 o'clock, M.

On motion of Mr. Phelps.

Leave of absence was granted to him for a few days.

The Clerk of the House of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to empower the Clerk of the
County Commissioners for Talbot county to administer an
Oath or affirmation to any account, to any person presenting
a claim to the Commissioners, against the county.

Which was read the first time an referred to the Committee
on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the fees of the County
Surveyor, for Garrett county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Getty, Ford and Lawrence.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act authorizing the Clerk of the
Circuit Court for Anne Arundel county to place certain fees
in the hands of the several Sheriffs of this State and the City
of Baltimore, for collection.

Whicli was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Com-
missioners of Wicomico county to levy a sum of money for
the support of William B. Gordy, while in an Insane
Asylum.

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Hum-
phreys, Dennis and Aydelotte.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to extend the charter of the New
York and Baltimore Transportation Line.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Corpo-
rations.
