cense, for the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager
beer, at or near Mount Vernon Factories, in Baltimore county.'

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act to require all
auctioneers making sales in Baltimore county, to pay a li-
cense fee;

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

Also,

House bill entitled a further supplement to an Act passed,
at December Session, 1825, entitled an Act to incorporate
the President and Directors of the Firemens' Insurance Com-
pany of Baltimore city, and the several supplements thereto,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to prohibit the Clerk of the Cir-
cuit Court of Baltimore county from issuing license to ven-
dors of spirituous or fermented liquors or lager beer, in the
village of Warren Factory, or at any place nearer than one
mile in every other direction.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

On motion by Mr. Hepbron, it was

Ordered to be entered on the Journal, that Mr. Bannon is
absent from his seat in the Senate, on account of the death of
a friend.

On motion by Mr. Lloyd,

The vote by which Senate bill entitled an Act to add cer-
tain additional sections to Article 81, of the Code of Public
General Laws, title "Revenue and Taxes," providing for the
assessment of property heretofore or hereafter omitted, to be
assessed, and for the collection of State taxes payable thereon.

Was ordered to lie over, and be made the order of the day
for Friday, the 28tb, at 1 o'clock.

Was reconsidered.
