Maryland of the Independent Order of Odd-Fellows, in rela-
tion to the opening of Lexington street, at the present term
of said Court.

AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY,

Secretary.

The Clerk of the Honse of Delegates appeared and deliv-
ered the following bills:

House bill entitled an Act to regulate the pay of the State's
Attorney for Cecil county,

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Knight, Hepbron and Ford.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act authorizing the County Com-
missioners of Garrett county to levy money for the payment
of wolf or other scalps destroyed within the limits of said
county,

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs.
Getty, Ford and Lawrence.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 941 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, title "City of Baltimore,"

Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more City Senators.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to release to Mortimer C. Grif-
fith, Philemon C. Griffith, Mary R. Dorsey, and Emeline C.
Orme, children of Philemon Griffith, deceased, all the rights
and interest of the State in and to a bequest of $2,000 n.ade
by the will of said deceased to his wife, Ann Griffith, who
died, before her husband without heirs,

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments Section 935, Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title " City of Baltimore."

Which was read the first time and referred to the Balti-
more City Senators.

Also,

House bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed at Jan-
uary Session, 1874, chapter 278, relating to fences in Prince
George's county,

Which was read the first time and referred to Messrs. Suit,
Mudd and Steiner.
