General Election to be held in this State submitted to the
legal and qualified voters thereof, for their adoption or re-
jection in pursuance of the direction contained in Art. 14, of
the Constitution of the State, and at said General Election the
vote on said proposed amendment to the Constitution shall be
by ballot, and upon each ballot,there shall be written or print-
ed the words for the "Constitutional Amendment,"or" against
the Constitutional Amendment," as the voters shall elect, and
immediately after said election returns shall be made to the
Governor of the vote for and against said proposed amend-
ment, as directed by the said 14 Article of the Constitution."
Which was adopted.
The bill as amended, was then read a second time and
ordereded to be engrossed for a third reading.
Mr. Hess, from the Baltimore City delegation, reported fa-
vorably,
A bill entitled an act to regulate the issuing of licenses to
ordinary and oyster house keepers in Baltimore city and Bal-
timore county during the continuance of the Centennial Cel-
ebration at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Baldwin moved that said bill be referred to the Balti-
City and Baltimore county delegations.
The question then recurring upon concurring in the motion,
Mr. Baldwin demanded the yeas and nays.
