delegations.
The bill entitled an Act to add a sub-section to be known
as sub-section 2, to Section 10, of Article 56, of the Code of
Public General Laws,
Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.
The bill entitled an Act to provide for the defence of cer-
tain persons, citizens of this State, against whom present-
ments have been made in the district court of the United
States for the District of Maryland for offenses against the
laws of the United States, alleged to have been by them com-
mitted at the recent municipal and State Elections, held in
the City of Baltimore,
Being upon a second reading,
Mr. Chaisty submitted the following amendments.
AMENDMENTS PROPOSED.
Strike out in lines 3 and 4, the words, "and such other
counsel as he may deem necessary."
Strike out "Section 2," and make "Section 2" "Sec-
tion 3.''
