No. 22. An Act authorizing the Clerk of the Circuit Court
for Anne Arundel county, to place certain fees in the hands
Of the several Sheriffs of this State, and of the City of Balti-
more for collection.
No. 23. An Act to repeal an Act entitled "an Act to re-
quire Auctioneers making sales in Baltimore county, to pay
a License Fee."
No. 24. An Act to incorporate the Ocean City Bridge Com-
pany.
No. 25. An Act entitled a further supplement to an Act
passed December Session, 1825, entitled an Act to incorpo-
rate the President and Directors of the Firernans' Insurance-
Company of Baltimore, and the several supplements thereto.
No. 27. An Act to amend an Act to incorporate the Safe
Deposit Company of Baltimore, chapter 242, of the Acts of
the General Assembly of 1864, and the amendatory thereof
being chapter 82, of 1867, and chapter 394, of 1868, and to
change the name of said corporation to Sale Deposit and
Trust Company of Baltimore.
No. 28. An Act to repeal Sections 619, 620, 625, 627 and.
628, of Article 4, of the Public Local haws, title "City of
Baltimore," sub-title, "Justices of the Peace, and Consta-
bles," and to enact certain sections in lieu of the sections so
repealed.
No 29. An Act to amend the charter of the Worcester
Railroad Company, and its supplements.

Mr. Smith, of Dor , presented the petition of B. L. Fooks
and other citizens of the lower districts of Dorchester county,
protesting against a law opening Fishing Bay, to the taking
of oysters with scoops.
Which was read and referred to the Dorchester delegation.
Mr. Stewart presented the petition of many good citizens
asking that the license laws of this State be so modified that
ordinary and oyster-house keepers will be enabled to sell
spirituous or fermented liquars on Sunday, during the con-
tinuance of the Centennial Celebration at Philadelphia.
Which was read and referred to the Select Committee on
Temperance.
Mr. Naill presented the petition of John C. Derr and about
50 bther citizens of Frederick county, praying for the creation
of 4 new election district, to be called "Lewistown District."
Which was read and referred to the Frederick delegation.
Mr. Fitzjarrell presented the petition of L. Dodson, Rd
Thomas, J. L. Adkins, W. H. Dawson and three hundred
