The motion was laid on the table.
Pending the call of the yeas and nays,
Mr. Stewart asked to be excused from voting, lest it might
seem to look like a desire to stiffle investigation.
The House refused to excuse him.
On motion of Mr. Hoblitzrll,
At 10.45 P. M. the House adjourned.
