the Judiciary.

House bill entitled an Act to repeal ch. 163, of the Acts of
the General Assembly, passed at the January Session of
1866, entitled an Act to incorporate the Trustees of the
Methodist Episcopal Church in Federalsburg, in Caroline
county, and to substitute the following in lieu thereof,
Was read a first time and referred to the Committee on
Corporations.
Also,
House bill entitled an Act to confer additional power upon
the County Commissioners of Garrett county, by adding the
following Section to ch. 212, passed at January Session,
1872.
Was read a first time and referred to Messrs. Barnard,
Browning and Sprigg.
Also,
The House bill entitled an Act to authorize the Clerk of
the Circuit Court for Kent county, to have several of the
Land Record Books of said county re-bound, and to continue
the general index of judgments and decrees on the dockets of
said Court, from the year 1864,

more County Gaslight Company,

The House bill entitled an Act to repeal sub-Section 5 of ch.
94, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at January Session, 1872, and entitled an Act to enable or
devise the County Commissioners of Allegany county, under
Art 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Alle-
gany county," under the head of "County Commissioners,"
to appoint a county t easurer to receive and disburse the
