Amend by adding to Section 33, "less the charges thereon,
and costs of advertisement and sale."

Amend by inserting after word "Act," on line 3, Section
39, "or in violation of any provision of this Act."

Mr. Brown proposed the following amendment:

Insert the word "on" after the word "or," in 3rd lice of
42d Section.

Mr. Hinks proposed the following amendment:

Amend by striking out words "by imprisonment," on line
10, of Section 42, and insert, 'be imprisoned" in lieu there-
of.

Mr. Lancaster proposed the following amendment:

Line 4, Section 52, "or before some Magistrate in the
county where the owner of said tobacco resides."

Section 52. Strike out all after "therefore," in line 3, to
"pay" in line 4, and insert, "in a Court having criminal
jurisdiction in this State."

Mr, Gwynn proposed the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
In Section 54, in line 3, after the word "bundles," insert
the following, "of an inferior tobacco to that which is found in
the outside courses," so as to read as follows: "With the heads
of the bundles of an inferior tobacco, to that which is found
in the outside course inverted," &c.

Mr. Snowden proposed the following amendment:

Strike out all from liae 1 to "that," in line 9.
