On motion of Mr. Donaldson
The bill and resolutions relating to the Baltimore and
Ohio Railroad Company was made the special order for Wed-
nesday, March 15th at 11 A.M.
Ou motion of Mr. Boyer,
The bill to establish a Produce Market in Baltimore,
Was made the special order for Tuesday, March 14th, at
12 M.
On motion of Mr. Chaisty,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act for the creation of a bureau
of supervision and control, to supervise and control the ac-
tions and management of such incorporated institutions and
societies, as land and loan-societies, building and saving as-
sociations, manufacturing and mining companies, and musi-
cal and dramatic societies, in the City of Baltimore and in
the State of Maryland, as are now working under charters
rom this State, to prevent such societies, associations and
companies from over-issuing their respective stocks, and to
compel said societies, associations and companies, to comply
strictly with the provisions of their respective charters.
On motion of Mr. Boyle,
Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to introduce
a bill to repeal Sections 30 and 67, of Article 81, of the Code
of Public General Laws, in so far as the same relates to Har-
ford county, and to enact the following Sections in lieu
thereof, to apply to Harford county.
On motion of Mr. Neal,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Usilton, Boyer and Neal, to
introduce a bill to enact a law forbidding under heavy pen-
alty, the sale of intoxicating liquors, beer or cider, within a
radius of two and one-half miles of the fair grounds in Kent
county, on the days of said exhibition, and also to enable the
association to avail itself of the services of a suitable police
force to maintain order on the days of said exhibition.
Mr. Hinks, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 82, with its Sub-
Sections 1 to 4 inclusive, and Sections 83, 84, 85 and 87,
with its Sub-Sections 1 to 13 inclusive, of Article 11, of the
Code of Public Local Local Laws, title "Frederick County,"
sub-title "Frederick," as enacted by the Act passed at Jan-
uary Session, 1872, chapter 348, and to enact substitutes
therefor, and in lien thereof.
