Mr. Waters, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 108, of the Acts
of 1874, entitled an Act to repeal Section 91, of Article 2, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Carroll County,"
sub-title "Justices of the Peace and Constables," and to re-
enact the same with amendments, and to amend and re-enact
the same.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Harig, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably,
The bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay the claims of John F. Wiggins, Daniel Caulk, Henry
M. Saville, James E. Tate, Richard Tydings, John H.
Handy. David Lennard, George M. Laughlin, Moses Mc-
Cormick, Medairy & Bowers, and Wm. T. Markland &
Brother.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Hoblitzell, from a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 10, of Article 51,
of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Justices of the
Peace," as amended by the Act of 1870, chapter 39, and to
re-enact the same with amendments.

Mr. Gill. Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal an Act approved April
4th, 1870, chapter 141, entitled an Act to repeal Section 18,
of Article 73, of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
"Penitentiary," and to re-enact the same with amendments.

the number of directors and for the holding of the meetings
of the said Company in the city of Philadelphia.
