On motion of Mr. Rinehart,
Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to introduce a
bill to prevent stock running at large in Carroll county.
On motion of Mr. Waters, of Carroll,
Leave was granted to the Carroll delegation to report a
bill entitled an Act to repeal chapter 108, of the Acts of 1874,
entitled an Act to repeal Section 21, of Article 7, of the Code
of Public Local Laws, entitled "Carroll County," sub-title
"Justices of the Peace and Constables," and to re-enact the
same with amendments, and to amend and re-enact the same.
On motion of Mr. Hooper,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill to incorporate the North Baltimore Cemetery
Company.
On motion of Mr. Gwynn,
Leave was granted to the Prince George's delegation to in-
troduce a bill to authorize the County Commissioners of Prince
George's county to abate the interest on certain judgments in
favor of the County Commissioners of Prince George's county
against Richard T. Robinson and his securities.
On motion of Mr. Lambdin,
Leave was granted to the Dorchester delegation to intro-
duce a bill to empower the Town Commissioners of East New
Market, in Dorchester county, to condemn a lot of land in
said town for public use.
On motion of Mr. Ward,
Leave was granted to the Cecil delegation to introduce a
bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of he Fifth
Election District of Cecil county to determine by ballot
whether spirituous or fermented liquors shall be sold in said
election district, or license granted for sale of same.
Mr. Constable, Chairman of the Committee on the Judi-
ciary, reported favorably,
The bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact Section 138,
of the Code of Public .General Laws, title " Chancery," as
enacted by chapter 428, of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at the January Session, 1874.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Brown, Chairman of the Committee on Inspections,
reported unfavorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act authorizing the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore, to provide for the inspection of oil and
fluids used for illuminating purposes in the city of Baltimore,
and for the appointment of inspectors for that purpose.
The report was adopted.
