Mr. Fenton offered the following amendment;
That the Daily Session of this House shall commence at
10 o'clock A. M., except on Monday, when the Sessions
shall commence at 11 o'clock A. M., this rule to continue in
force until the adjournment, unless otherwise ordered.
The question being on the adoption of the amendment,

close at 2 o'clock P. M., unless otherwise ordered.

On motion of Mr. Lancaster,
Ordered, That Mr. James Dorsey, of Baltimore city, the
most efficient page of the .last House, be employed in this
House for the remainder of the Session, and be paid from
date of his appointment.
On motion of Mr. Curtis,
Ordered, That Mr. Smith, of Baltimore county be granted
leave of absence for a few days an important business.
