an Act to amend the Act of March Session eighteen hundred
and sixty-five, chapter one hundred and forty-seven, by sub-
stituting certain actions for the second and third sections
of said Act, and providing for the reduction of the number of
directors, and for the holding of the meetings of said Com-
pany in the City of Philadelphia,
On motion of Mr. Dashiell,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Chesapeake Bay
and its Tributaries, to report a bill to protect fish in the wa-
ters of the Wicomico River from non-residents.
On motion of Mr. Bird,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Bird, Turner and Lan-
caster, to introduce a bill relating to the sale of intoxi-
cating liquors within two miles of Huntingtown and Smith-
ville, in Calvert county.
On motion of Mr. Gill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to legalize the Revised Code of
Public General and Public Local Laws of Maryland, proposed
by Louis Mayer and Louis C. Fisher.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal section nine hun-
dred and forty-one, Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"City of Baltimore."
Also,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore City Delegation to in-
troduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re enact with
amendments, Section 935, Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "City of Baltimore."
On motion of Mr. Lambdin,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Chesapeake Bay
and its Tributaries, to introduce a bill for boats of tea tons
and under, to catch oysters with scoops or dredges, in the
waters of the Little Choptank River, as high up as Caseus'
Shoals.
On motion of Mr. Bernard,
Leave was granted to the Messrs. Barnard, Browning and
Farrow, to introduce bill authorizing the County Com-
missioners of Garrett county to levy money for fox and other
lehlps.
