On motion of Mr. Chaisty,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to ex tend the charter of the Grand Division
of the State of Maryland, of the Order of Sons of Temper-
ance, passed at December Session, 1849, chapter 159.
On motion of Mr. Whitelock,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill entitled an Act providing for the registration
of voters of the State, repealing an Act passed January Ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and seventy, chapter four hundred and
fifty-nine, entitled an Act to repeal an Act passed January
Session, eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, relating to regis-
tration of voters, and to enact other provisions in lieu thereof.
On motion of Mr. Turner,
Leave was granted to the Calvert delegation to introduce
a bill relating to the sale of intoxicating liquors in Calvert
county.
On motion of Mr, Fitzjarrell,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to authorize the members of White Marsh
Parish, in Talbot county, to constitute and make St. Paul's
Church in the town of Trappe their Parish Church.
On motion of Mr. Fenton.
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to repeal Section 811 of Art. 4 of the Code
of Public Local Laws, entitled ''City of Baltimore," sub-
title "Police," chap. 367, passed January Session, 1867,
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Waters, of Dorchester,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill, making it unlawful for any public officer of
this State, to use the interest of public money under his con-
trol, for the private advantage of himself or any other per-
son. |
On motion of Mr. Rawlings,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of eighteen
hundred and seventy, chapter one hundred and fifty-two;
