The Seriate bill entitled an Act, supplementary to an Act,
to incorporate the Citizen's Railway Company of Baltimore
city, passed at January Session, 1870, was reported favorably,
with proposed amendment.
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend by adding to Section 1, "provided the said Com-
pany, shall from and after the passage of this Act, run all
its cars through from one terminus of the road to the other."
Which was adopted,
And the bill read a second time as amended.
The hour having arrived for the consideration of the order
of the day, the House proceeded to the consideration of,
The bill entitled "an Act to repeal any supposed exemp-
tion of the capital stock of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad
Company, or of any of its branch roads, or its or their real,
personal, or mixed, from taxation, for State, county or muni-
cipal purposes,"
Being upon its second reading,
M.. Donaldson submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amend Section 2 by inserting in line 3 the word "Octo-
ber" after rhe word "of," and the word "six" after the word
"seventy."
Which was adopted.
Mr. Rullman submitted the following amendment:
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Add additional Section to be Section 3.
"Section 3. And be it enacted, That nothing in this Act
shall be so construed as to affect any debt or claim due by
the said road to the State, up to the time said amount is
given, as provided for in the second Section of this Act."

The bill, as amended, read a second time, and ordered to
be engrossed for a third reading, and
On motion of Mr. Donaldson,
Said bill was made the order of the day for Friday, March
10th, at 1 P. M.
