The bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed 1874, ch.
276, relating to Kent Narrows, and all preceding Acts re-
lating thereto, and to re-enact as follows.
Was considered, and made the order of the day for Tues-
day, 14th inst., at 12 o'clock, M.
The Secretary of the Senate delivered the following bills :
The bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Purchasers of
ithe Queen Anne's and Kent County Railroad Company.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.
Also, deliverd,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with amend-
ments, Section 2 of ch. 417, of the Acts passed at January
Session, 1858, which was an Act authorizing the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore, to establish an inspection and
measurement of gas and gas-metres in the City of Baltimore.
Which was read a first time and referred to the Balti-
more City Delegation.
Mr. Loane, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act declaratory of the Act of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at January Session,
1853, chapter 109, entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Freemont Savings Institution of
Baltimore, by allowing said Institution the privilege em-
braced under the Act entitled an Act to continue the corpo-
rate existance of the several banking institutions therein
mentioned, passed at January Session, 1853, chapter 441,
and to extend the corporate existance of the Peoples' Bank
of Baltimore.
Which was read a second time.
