So the amendment was rejected.
The bill entitled an Act to protect persons traveling on the
highways in Harford, Cecil, Howard, Washington, Balti-
more, Frederick and Montgomery counties, where the same
crosses any railroad track,
Being under consideration and on its third reading,
Mr. Waters, of Dor., by unanimous consent, offered to
amend by striking out Dorchester wherever it occurs,
The question being upon the adoption of the amendment,
It was adopted.
