Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act to
designate the arbitration to ascertain and fix the boundary
between the States of Virginia and Maryland, approved
April llth, 1874,
Which was read a first time and referred to the Select
Committee on the Boundary.
Also, delivered,
A bill entitled an Aofc to authorize and direct the County
Commissioners of Talbot county, to appoint an additional
constable for the 1st election district of said county.
Which was read a first time and referred to a Select Com-
mittee, consisting of Messrs. Fitzjarrell, Dodson and Golds-
borough.
Also, delivered,
A bill entitled an Act to add an additional Section to Arti-
cle 30, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Crimes
and Punishments," sub-title "Horse Stealing,"
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Judiciary.
Also, delivered,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 7, of an Act entitled
aa Act to add certain additional Sections relating to the
Superior Court of Baltimore city, and the Court of Common
Pleas in Baltimore city, to the 4th Article of the Public Lo-
cal Laws, regulating the return of process, and the taking of
judgments in said Courts, passed at the General Assembly of
Maryland, at the January Session of 1864, chapter 6, and to
re-enact the same with amendments,
Which was read a first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Judiciary.
Mr. Hobliizell called up the following order submitted by
him:
Ordered, That during the Morniog Session no Local Bill
fihall be considered on their second or third reading unless
otherwise ordered.
Mr. Gill offered the following amendment:
"Provided further that no printed bill shall be taken up
during the Evening or Afternoon Session."
The question being upon the adoption of the amendment,
It was rejected.
The question recurring upon the adoption of the order,
It was adopted.
