Mr. Browning presented the petition from the Clerk of the
Circuit Court, Sheriff, Register of Wills, and 1,103 citizens
of Garrett county, against the passage of Senate bill re-open-
ing and re-submitting the question of county-sent to the
voters of Garrett county.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.
Mr. Smith, Speaker, presented the petition of Elizabeth
Kohler, for a pension.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Pen-
sions.
Mr. Gwynn presented the petition of E, B. F. Conwick
and 50 others of Prince George's county, asking for Local
Option.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Tem-
perance.
Also,
The petition of Ida M. Dorsy and 70 other ladies of Prince
George's county, asking for Local Option.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Tem-
perance.
Also,
The petition of J. G. Jenkins, George Calvert, and 80
others of Prince George's county, asking for Local Option.
Which was read and referred to the Committee on Tem-
perance.
Mr. Curtis presented the petition of R, A. Remare and
others, of Baltimore county, asking for a repeal of the law in
relation to the appointment of School Commissioners.
Which was read and referred to the Baltimore county del-
egation.
Mr. Browning presented the petition of Joshua Somers and
68 other citizens of Garrett county, asking for the passage of a
law authorizing the County Commissioners of said county to
pay a premium on all rattle snakes killed within the limits of
the county.
Which was read and referred to Messrs. Browning, Bar-
nard and Brooke.
