On motion of Mr. McWilliams,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Inspections to in-
troduce a bill to repeal Section 15 of chapter 153 of the Act
of 1872, entitled an Act to provide for the inspection of steam
boilers in the city of Baltimore.
On motion of Mr. Hooper,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore County delegation to
introduce a bill entitled an Act, providing for the repeal of
Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, chapter 473, of the Public Local Laws
of Baltimore county, entitled " Auctioneer."
On motion of Mr. Onley,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill to amend the charter of the Worcester Rail-
road Company and its supplements.
On motion of Mr. Brown,
Leave was gi anted to the Carroll delegation to introduce a
bill for the protection of Sheep in Carroll county.
On motion of Mr. Vaudivet,
Leave was granted to the Harford delegation to introduce
a bill to compel the Railroad Companies passing through
Harford county, to place a flagman at all dangerous county
crossings.
On motion of Mr. Gill,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to in-
troduce a bill entitled a supplement to the Acts incorporating
the Western Maryland Railroad Company, and conferring
new powers upon the said Company.
On motion of Mr. Gwynn,
Leave was granted to the Prince George's delegation to re-
port a bill to repeal Section 1 of the Act of January session,
1874, Chapter 265, entitled an Act to remove all gates from
the public roads in Prince George's county, and to re-enact
the same with amendments.
Mr. Waters, of Carroll, Chairman of Select Committee,
submitted the following
REPORT.
The report of the Committee appointed in, reference to the
distribution of the Governor's Message to the appropriate
Committees for their consideration, respectfully recommend :
That such portion of the message of the Governor as re-
lates to the financial condition of the State, of the Baltimore
and Ohio Railroad Company, the Chesapeake and Ohio Ca-
nal Company, the Tax on Commissions, the Assessment of
