A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 10, of chapter 505,
of the incorporation Act, passed January Session, 1874, and
to enact the following in lieu thereof.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Birkemeicr, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 4, 6, 7 and 8, of
chapter 504, of an Act passed January Session, 1874, entitled
an Act to regulate the manufacture and sale of oil for illumi-
nating purposes, and repealing the Acts enumerated therein
and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Goldsborough, Chairman of a Select Committee, re-
ported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 9, of Article 28, of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to the publication
of county expenses, so far as the same relates to Caroline
county, and to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize the Board of County
School Commissioners of Worcester county, to appropriate
money out of the Free School Fund of said county, towards
building school houses and for other purposes.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act granting to certain soldiers and
widows of soldiers of the War of 1812, a pension of eighty
dollars per annum, to be paid in quarterly instalments.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Gill, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
Senate bill entitled an Act to provide for the payment of
the counsel employed to represent the State in the arbitra-
tion between Maryland and Virginia, upon the boundary be-
tween the said States, and to appropriate a sum of money
therefor, and for the other expense of the same arbitration.
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Bird, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
A bill entitled an Act to authorise the County Commit
sioners for Calvert county, to issue bonds or to create a sink-
