Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, submitted the following amend-
tnent: H
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.
Amecd Section 5, line 4, after the word printing, "and
whose pay shall be the same as a member of the House of
Delegates."

Boyle, Vandiver, Culbreth, Goldsborough, Rusk, Berke-
meier, Hoblitzell, McGlone, Stewart, Gill, Harig, Scott,
Farrow, Ranger, Jones, Canby, Griffith, Rawlings, Atkin-
son, Sprigg, Brooke, Brown, Rinehart, Lamotte, Waters, of
Carroll, Donaldson, Clark, Dashiell, Gordy, Barnard—62.
On motion of Mr. Gojdsborough, it was
Ordered, That henceforth at the Evening Sessions, only
House bills shall be considered.
Mr. Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to enable the qualified voters of
Worcester county, to determine by ballot whether spirituous
or fermented liquors shall not be sold in said county, or shall
be sold only as hereinafter described, and to repeal all Acts
inconsistent herewith...
