On motion of Mr. Loane,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations, to
introduce a bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of January
Session, 1860, chapter 265, entitled an Act to incorporate the
Consolidation Coal Company, by repealing the sixth Sectioa
thereof, and enacting an additional Section in lieu thereof.
Mr. Loane, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to Article
26, of the Code of Public General Laws, title "Corporators,"
as enacted by Act of Assembly, 1868, chapter 471, and to re-
strict the powers of Corporations formed foi the loaning of
money upon mortgage of real and leasehold estate.

Also,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 2 and 8, of the
Act passed January Session, 1868, to incorporate the Park-
ion and Manchester Railroad Company, and re-enact the same
to read as follows.

Also,
A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Sharpsburg Sav-
ings' Institution.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Harig, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a bum of money to
pay Christian H. Walker, of Harford county, money for
taxes erroneously paid by him into the Treasury of the State.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Loane, Chairman of the Committee on Corporations,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Stock Exchange
of the City of Baltimore.
Which was read a first time.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the Consol-
idated Copper Company of Baltimore city, by empowering said
corporation to hold and dispose of lands suited to the pur-
poses of its incorporation.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Harig, Chairman of the Committee on Claims, re-
ported unfavorably,
