The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend Article 67 of
the Public General Laws of this State, title "Notaries Pub-
lic," by repealing the 1st Section thereof, and re-enact the
said Section with amendments, increasing the number of
Notaries of Public in the City of Baltimore, and by adding
to said Article an additional Section, giving Notaries Pub-
lic power to take the acknowledgments of deeds; bills of
sales and mortgages, or other writings required to be re-
corded, and to administer any oaths or affirmation required
by law, to be made to or concerning the same.

The bill was substituted for the -unfavorable report, and
made the order of the day for Wednesday, 8th instant, at
1 P M.

the 57th Article, of the Code of Public General Laws of this
.State, title "Limitation o' Actions," and to re-enact the
