direct the County Commissioners of Howard county, to ad-
just and pay Thomas J. White, for damages occasioned by
opening a public road through his lands.

Mr. Jones, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported with-
out amendment,
The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1874,
chapter 338, entitled an Act for the taxation of Dogs, in
Montgomery county,
Which was read a second time.
Mr. Hodges, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 79, sub-section 2,
of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel coun-
ty," sub-title "County Commissioners," as repealed, amend-
ed, re-enacted and added by chapter 485, of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-
sion, 1874, and to amend and re-enact said section 79, and
sub-section 2.

A bill entitled an Act to regulate the levy for State pur-
poses for the year 1876, and for subsequent years.

on Ways and Means.
