Mr. Gill, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and Means,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to provide for the settlement of the
claims of the Clerks of Tobacco Warehouse, No. 1.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to divide the Third Election District
of Worcester county, into Ten Election Districts,
"Which was read a first time.
Mr. Purnell, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commis-
sioners of Worcester county, to erect and maintain a bridge
over Ayers' Creek, in said county, and to levy a sum of
money therefor.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Donaldson, Chairman of a Select Committee on Fish-
eries, reported back with request, that it may be referred to
the Wicomico delegation,
A bill entitled an Act to protect fish in the waters of the
"Wicomico river from non-residents.

Mr. Sprigg, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 48 of an Act of
the General Assembly of Maryland, entitled an Act to amend
the charter of the City of Cumberland, by repealing Sections
22, &c., passed at the January Session of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, 18t 4, chapter 100, also to repeal Section
52 of Article 1, of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Allegany county," sub-title "Cumberland," and
to re-enact the same with amendments.
Which was read .a first time.
Mr, Neal, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably.
A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act passed 1374, ch.
276, relating to Kent Narrows, and all preceding Acts rela-
ting thereto, and to re-enact as follows.
