Mr. Smith, of Dorchester, Chairman of a Select Committee,
reported favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to regulate the number of tax col-
lection districts in Dorchester county, and to abolish the of-
fice of county Treasurer in the said county.
Which was read a first time and ordered to be printed.
Also,
A bill entitled an Act to protect oysters in the waters of
Dorchester county, aad to prohibit the taking thereof in the
months of June, July and August of each year.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Bird,, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported favor-
ably,
A bill to repeal and re-enact chapter 279, of the Acts
Passed at January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to amend
the Act of Assembly of 1868, chapter 292, adding an addi-
tional Section to Article 51, of the Code of Public General
Laws, under the title of "Landlord and Tenant" by repealing
the same, and re-enacting the same as follows.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Rullman, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to exempt certain portions of the wa-
ters of Anne Arundel county from the operations of Sections
1 and 3, Article 98, of the General Laws, title "Wild Fowls"
and to enact other Sections in lieu thereof.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Hance, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported fa-
vorably,
A bill entitled an Act for the protection of birds in Prince
George's and Anne Arundel counties.
Which was read a first time.
Mr. Constable, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably a bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections 36, 37, 38,
39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 47, 48, 49, 50, and 51, of Article
8, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Cecil county," and
relating to Chesapeake city also to repeal an Act entitled an
Act to repeal Section 46, of Article 8, of the Code of Public
Local Laws relating to the collection of taxes, fines and for-
feitures in Chesapeake city, passed April Session, 1861, chap-
ter 87, and to re-eaact the same with amendments,
Which was read a first time.
Mr, Farrow, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably a bill entitled an Act to repeal and re-enact with
amendments that part of Article 21 of the Code of Public-
