A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 2, of chapter 2,
and Section 8, of chapter 4, of an Act passed January Ses-
sion 1872, chapter 377, entitled an Act to repeal an Act
passed at the January Session, 1870, entitled an Act to re-
peal an Act passed at the January Session, 1863, entitled
"Public Education."
Which was adopted.
Mr, Gill, Chairman of the Committee on Ways and
Means, reported back to the House
A bill entitled an Act to appropriate a sum of money to
pay Thos. I. Hall & Co., for a Hogshead of Tobacco lost
from State Tobacco Warehouse.
Which was referred to the Committee on Claims.
Mr. Scott, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to add additional Sections to Ar-
ticle 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Washington
county," sub-title "roads," to be known as Sections 235 B,
235 C, 235 D, 235 E, 235 F, 235, 235 G, 235 H, 235 J.

Mr. Vandiver, Chairman of a Select Committee, reported
favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to protect persons travelling on the
highways, in Harford county, where the same crosses any
railroad track.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal Section 3 of an Act, chap-
ter 429, approved 4th April, 1870, dividing the third
district of Baltimore county into precincts districts, and

favorably,
A bill entitled an Act to give the assent of the General
Assembly of Maryland to the several bequests in the will of
Rezin Hammond, late of Anne Arundel county, deceased, to
the Brooklyn Methodist Protestant Church and Parsonage,
in Brooklyn, Anne Arundel county, and Holly Run Metho-
dist Protestant Church, in same county, and State of Mary-
land.
