appoint an additional Constable in the Second and Third
Election Districts of Calvert county.
On motion of Mr. Hoblitzell,
Leave was granted to the Baltimore city delegation to in-
troduce a bill to repeal Sections 1 and 2, of chapter 401,
passed January Session, 3874, of the Code Public Local
Laws, title "City of Baltimore," sub-title "Courts," and re-
enact the same with amendments.
On motion of Mr. Atkinson,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Claims to intro-
duce a bill entitled an Act to pay Horace Resley a sum of
money paid into the Treasury erroneously.
On motion of Mr. Dodson,
Leave was granted to Messrs. Dodson, Fitzjarrell and
Riggs to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal Sections
99, 108, 110, 112 and 113 of Article 20, Public Local Laws,
title "Talbot connty," sub-title "Oxford," and to re-enact
the same with amendments; also, to additional Sections to
said Article.
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
introduce a bill to regulate the publication of legal notices in
newspapers.
On motion of Mr. Hodges,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel delegation to in-
troduce a bill to construct a bridge over Beard's Creek, in
Anne Arundel county.
Also,
Leave was granted to the Anne Arundel delegation to in-
troduce a bill for the better protection of wild fowl in the
waters of Anne Arundel county.
On motion of Mr. Rusk,
Leave was granted to the Committee on Agriculture, to in-
troduce a bill for the preservation and and cultivation of for-
est trees in the State of Maryland.
On motion of Mr. Brown,
Leave was granted to the Carroll and Howard delegations,
to introduce a bill for the better protection of Stock, Poultry
and Game in Carroll and Howard counties.
On motion of Mr. Stewart,
Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary, to
introduce a bill making valid sales and conveyances muter
decrees of Courts by persons irregularly appointed or defec-
tively qualified.
